Kelkoo.com was founded in 2000, following mergers with Zoomit, Dondecomprar and Shopgenie. Within 2 years of launching, Kelkoo became Europe’s largest e-commerce website after Amazon and Ebay and the largest e-commerce advertising platform both in the UK and Europe.

The Kelkoo engineering group has started its Agile journey back in 2007. Part of the training work, the teams that have experimented with Agile have tested various tools to support the Scrum methodology in a context where teams could be distributed; but none of those tools was really satisfying. Mid 2009, the development of theSCRUM started internally with a focus on product backlog managements. The tool has quickly been enhanced to support sprint planning management; and all agile teams quickly migrated to this tool.

theSCRUM is now used by 15 agile teams on daily basis at Kelkoo.
